The 2004 NCAWA Annual Conference will
take place at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel, 1 Thomas Wolfe Plaza,
Asheville. The reservations number is 1-800-468-3571 or
828-252-8211. You will need to identify yourself as a member of
NC Association of Women Attorneys to receive the group rate of $169
per night. You must call by September 7 to receive the group
rate.
President's Reception
Outgoing President Stella
Boswell invites all attendees and their guests to a reception on
Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 pm at Magnolia’s Raw Bar & Grille, 26
Walnut Street, Asheville. This is a great way for first time
attendees and conference veterans to kick off the festivities.
Please fill in the appropriate box on the registration form to let
us know the number of people who will attend from your party. There
is no charge for this event.
Silent Auction
Silent Auction Proceeds to Benefit NCAWA’s
Scholarship Fund.
Annual Book Drive
The Community Outreach Committee is sponsoring a Book Drive for
women’s prisons. If you would like to participate in this outreach
project, books (fiction and non-fiction) can be placed in the boxes
provided at the Conference Registration Desk.
