Our chapter is comprised of a diverse group of women attorneys, including litigators, mediators, prosecutors, public defenders, partners in large firms, and solo practioners. We have common goals, including promoting women in our profession and encouraging each other in our practices.

On June 2nd, the Western Chapter of the NCAWA will celebrate 24 women who have achieved 25 years in the practice of law in NC, and will present the 2016 Themis Award to Attorney and NCAWA Member, Leah Broker, for her accomplishments in furtherance of the status of women in the legal profession. All NCAWA members are invited to join us in Asheville for this biannual event.

Our lunch meetings are on the third Wednesday of every month and we currently hold them at Pack’s Tavern in Asheville. We just had a spring happy hour a few weeks ago and our next one will be in August (date to be determined).
